Stylish Dakota Fanning Thinks Robert Pattinson Is Cute

There really isn’t any news today…

Dakota Fanning showed some serious style in a silver strapless origami mini dress at the LA premiere of Push on Thursday, January 29.
The charming 14-year-old, fast emerging as a teen and tween style icon, looked enchanting in the dress with symmetrical pleating across the bodice and at the waist.
She accessorized with matching peep toe heels with ankle straps and a double hoop pendant gold necklace. Her long straight blond hair left open draped her shoulders with a middle parting. She wore black mascara and brick red lip gloss.
Meanwhile, she was interviewed by MTV on Friday, January 30 about her ongoing negotiations to join “New Moon”. And she revealed: “I know that a lot of people know about it. I’m glad that people are excited about me possibly being in it. That’s so nice!”
The actress added: “I wouldn’t say it’s 100 percent, but it’s definitely, obviously a possibility and something that would be really cool. I really hope it works out.” Dakota also explained why she would be a good fit for Jane in the “Twilight” sequel, saying: “We’re both pale. … I don’t think they’d have to put a lot of makeup on me if it works out. I’m pretty pale as it is.”
But the “Push” starlet hasn’t read all of Stephenie Meyer’s novels yet. “I haven’t read all of them,” she told MTV. “But I have seen the film, and I’m a very big fan of the cast. I love all of them. I would look forward to getting to work with them.”
When asked could she keep herself under control if she shot a scene opposite Robert Pattinson, Dakota responded: “He is very, very cute. But I’m sure I would be. The part that I play gets to interact with a lot of the characters, so that would be cool.”

Has she even got the part yet ?!
She seems to be really into it

Jesse McCartney Talks Co-Starring With ‘Twilight’ Actor In ‘The Last Airbender’

Jesse McCartney will be joining “Twilight” star Jackson Rathbone in the upcoming M. Night Shyamalan-helmed flick “The Last Airbender.” McCartney — who plays Prince Zucko — assured fans of the writer/director who feel he may not be right for the part that Shyamalan has it all figured out.

“I heard a lot about this online,” McCartney said, referring to fans’ criticism. “There’s a lot of hard-core fans out there [who] probably know more about it … I’m still learning. This is M. Night’s vision and this is what he wants. To all the fans, I can tell you I’m putting my best foot forward.”

That foot forward includes intense kung-fu training for McCartney, who described his character as “an expert firebender.” “I’ve been in kung-fu training for the last month and half-learning all the moves. I’m looking forward to it.”

Although he is still learning all about the popular cartoon that first made its debut in Asia before gaining popularity in America, it was his little brother who was already a fan when McCartney signed on to the flick. “I heard about the series from my little brother who’s an avid ‘Avatar’ fan,” he explained. “I heard about the project, and that Night was directing it. He flew me out to Philly to read with him. I worked with him a lot on the character. He called me on my phone and was like, ‘I want you to play this character.’ And we took it from there.”

McCartney is also looking forward to working with Rathbone — who will also be filming “New Moon” this year — on the movie. “He was there for the reading and he and I have been in training together. We’re flying in a few weeks to start production and then to Greenland to start filming. He’s a super nice guy. We’ve been getting along great.”

As for any musical collaboration between the two, McCartney assures us that they’ll have plenty of time to mull that over as they film the movie. “We haven’t talked about that yet,” he said. “I’m sure I’ll get to know all of this about him.”

What is the big deal about ‘Twilight?‘

My wife is reading about a vampire.

His name is Edward. He’s from the Northwest. He’s rich. He’s young. He’s supposedly good looking.

Yes. My wife is into “Twilight.”

You’ve probably heard of “Twilight.” If not, then let me catch you up to speed.

“Twilight” is the story of a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire. Teenagers have gone goo-goo over the four books written about Edward (the vampire) and Bella (the teenage girl).

So has my 30-something wife – the same lady who has a master’s degree in counseling and who graduated as the top female student from Pike County High School. She finds the story intriguing.

Her interest started after we went to the theater to watch the movie. (I thought it was OK for a teenage romance thriller, but I also think “The Jerk” with Steve Martin is in a league with “Casablanca” and “Citizen Kane.”)
Anyway, Stephanie has dissected each of the four books (entitled “Twilight”, “New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”) multiple times. She has the “Twilight” soundtrack. She’s already purchased the yet-to-be-released DVD for her birthday gift. (Her birthday is seven weeks away.)

I don’t get it. Yes, my wife is a bookworm. She’s read the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy several times. I think she’s been nominated president of the Jane Austen Fan Club.

But a story about a teenage vampire who drives an Aston Martin and has weird hair? I don’t get it.

Yet Stephanie isn’t alone. She’s recruited a local friend (who will remain nameless to protect the family) to become a “Twilight” fanatic. This sharp young lady, who is a wife and mother, attended one of the nation’s top private colleges.

They’re among millions of Twilight fanatics. Type “Twilight” in Google, and you’ll get 70 million results.

Stephanie says the sales associate at Barnes and Noble reports strong sales among teenage boys. (Apparently they want to know what the opposite sex is reading.)

This is all scarier than that family wearing Snuggies at the ball game.

Anyway, I’m confused. Why is there all the love for “Twilight” when we can all find something good on the tube, like Ted Nugent’s hunting show or “Dancing With the Stars?”

Anyway, I posed this question to my 89 friends on Facebook – “What is the big deal with Twilight?”

The responses came quickly.

“It’s typical teenage fluff… but anything to get kids to read is awesome in my book!” one 20-something friend wrote.

“It’s ‘vampirey’ too. Vampires tend to be very sexy in movies. Go figure,” a 40-something pal stated.

“Yeah, for real, all those college females ever talk about anymore is how sexy/smart/awesome Edward Cullen-the vampire in Twilight-is. All of us ‘human’ guys just don’t compare, so they say,” wrote one Facebook friend who is a college freshman.

I don’t understand the craze. But I’m cool with Stephanie. I’m still the only dude for her. Yeah, I don’t have Edward’s hair or money. But I can cook and clean. I do tell her “I love you” multiple times each day.

And I do engage her in some pretty interesting philosophical debates on a regular basis.

Besides, if she wants her “Twilight” birthday gifts, she has to stay on my good side.

‘Twilight’ stars spill ‘New Moon’ details

Good news for Twi-hards; judging by the tips “Twilight” stars Ashley Greene and Kellen Lutz shared with Access Hollywood about “New Moon” on Thursday night, it sounds like the second installment in the series will remain faithful to Stephenie Meyer’s book.

“I can tell you there’s a yellow Porsche,” Greene revealed at the premiere of Dakota Fanning’s “Push,” confirming that the vehicle, which plays a special role in the “New Moon” book, will be in the movie.

“I can tell you there’s werewolves,” she added coyly. “I think (the details of ‘New Moon’ script are) kind of highly under wraps.”

Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, the sister of Edward Cullen, Robert Pattinson’s character, is expected to return alongside Lutz, who plays older brother Emmett Cullen.

“We are both confirmed to be a part of it,” he said before retracting only slightly. “I’m still waiting — crossing fingers.”

Both actors said they are thrilled over the return of Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, a young man/werewolf (and the best friend of Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan), to the franchise.

“I’m so proud of him,” Lutz said of the recent bulk-up Lautner underwent to secure his role in “New Moon.”

But one of their co-stars, Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, an old-school style vampire in the series, said he actually said he saw Lautner’s transformation as it happened.

“I actually worked out with him,” Gathegi revealed to Access last night. “We were working out in Australia together and working out across the country, so I saw it happening. I was there on the front lines. He was a little shrimp and he’s somewhat of a man now.”

Gathegi who will appear in “New Moon,” told Access the film would begin shooting in early spring.

“We start shooting in March in Vancouver and in Italy,” he said.

Facinelli Says Jennie Garth ‘Wants a Boy’

If ‘Twilight’ actor Peter Facinelli had to choose between attending an exclusive premiere or staying at home with his wife Jennie Garth and their three daughters, he’d pick the latter.
“I am not a big, ‘Look at me’ person, so I don’t go to a lot of premieres. I am more of a family guy who stays at home with my kids. I’m more known as being the soccer dad,” Facinelli exclusively told PopEater.
Family life is important for both Facinelli and Garth, who met in 1995 while filming the TV movie ‘An Unfinished Affair’ and married in 2001. The couple has three daughters together: Luca Bella (11), Lola Ray (6) and Fiona Eve (2).
Facinelli, who grew up with three sisters, is not fazed by living with a household of women again. “I have three little girls and one big girl,” he joked. “I have been surrounded by women my whole life. Yeah, there is a lot of estrogen in the house, but I enjoy it,” he said.
And there might be more children on the way. “Jennie tends to get her way, but it is a debate that’s going on right now,” he said. “Honestly, my wife wants a boy, [but] to me, it doesn’t matter. At first, I wanted a boy, but now I have three beautiful daughters, who are important to me,” Facinelli said.

It’s true! Rob mowed off his mop back in December and at last night’s premiere of “Push,” R. Pat’s “Twilight” co-star Rachelle LeFevre said she still can get over the hair loss! “What I’m wondering is what he’s going to do now because he runs his fingers through it all the time,” she said. “What’s he going do with his hands?!”

Check out this hot new Amazon Exclusive Twilight Music Box! This is the first image that’s been released of it to my knowledge, and I think it looks pretty nice! It’s going for $19.99–not too shabby. Here’s the full details:

The jewelry box has a glossy black finish with dark blue velvet like lining. The Cullen crest spins in front of the mirror while the box plays the classical song “Claire de Lune“. This song is heard throughout the movie and when Bella and Edward started to dance. The top of the box has a picture of Edward and Bella with the Twilight logo. One side has Edward’s picture and the other side has a picture of Bella. The front of the box has the quote, “And so the Lion fell in love with the Lamb”. The box has ring holders and storage compartment for your Twilight jewelry. There is one drawer that slides out from the front. It measures 7 x 5 X 4 inches.

Twilight thin musical jewelry box with removable locket. With flip up lid and high quality from NECA

It’s available for pre-order now, and will be released on March 26th.

Threesome for Film: Robert Pattinson Teams With Zac Efron and Justin Timberlake?

Please Rob… don’t! Your too good to work with Zac … lol

This would be a very hot threesome for a film and would deliver huge numbers for young girls. They would flock to see vampire hottie Robert Pattinson with anyone but if you add High School Musical hunk Zac Efron and singer and actor Justin Timberlake you have pretty much covered all of your bases. First it was the Pattinson and Vanessa Hudgens rumors, now he will work with Zac?

According to an item from Hollyscoop that cites a report from Star this week the film will involve the drama behind the 1970 murders of anti-Vietnam War protesters at Kent State University. The report notes that the film is titled Ohio.

***

The magazine cites insiders that basically say that all the fellas are jealous of Rob Pattinson and his stratospheric rise to fame. Now the battle is behind the scenes to see what actor will land the big role. The whole story seems almost a stretch.

After watching Efron is his film roles, it would be interesting to see his I something like this, but it seems like a stretch. Justin Timberlake is a huge leap as well for almost any serious role. Pattinson was quite good in Twilight, and he is the only one I can see in a film such as the one described.
